Homeschool burnout


When a parent takes responsibility for educating their child, homeschool burnout is one of the most common have to deal. There are many reasons that lead to this
burnout: an illness, a new baby, added responsibility, change in routine etc.

The symptoms of burnout vary from lack of patience to overeating and crying for no apparent reason. Surprisingly, depletion need not be so bad. It is a wake up call - an indicator things are going well and you need to reschedule. Reversing or avoiding a burnout is possible if you just warning.

First, lower your expectations. Do not be a perfectionist. Take on good and bad. Then when something does not seem work, look for alternative methods. Flexibility is the key factor.
