Homeschooling and college


When children grow out of short pants and is ready to begin adolescence, many parents wonder whether they should continue home education program. They fear that colleges can not give equal opportunities for children educated at home.

Many fears of this kind were put to rest when two homeschooled children got admission into Harvard University. Harvard does not require a high school Title admission to their degree program. Many colleges are more interested in knowledge and behavior children educated at home rather than a high school diploma. In
In fact, other things are similar in many schools prefer homeschoolers because of the diversity and richness they bring to college life.

Admission requirements may vary. While some universities require child to appear for the SAT, others may need a general equivalency diploma. And some can not take care of all the evidence. The criterion may vary depending on the university to apply. However, college courses really do not require prior knowledge of secondary or special training.

It is common to find parents who are desperately trying to change their children to schools of higher education at home for fear unavailability of college admissions. But college admissions are open to all educated people, regardless of whether they are educated at home or in a public school.
